El Paso, TX (KTSM)— High-pressure dominance will continue to affect our weather conditions at the end of the week. Above-average temperatures and heating trends are proving that triple digits will return into the forecast as early as Thursday.
As heat continues to circulate around the region temperatures will rise into above average highs for Wednesday. The Borderland can expect to see highs in the upper 90’s with temperature lows in the mid 70’s.
The high pressure system has continues to make it difficult for moisture to deepen into the Borderlands atmosphere. This is what’s helping the Borderland stay dry with rain chances being seen as incredibly slim.
Triple-digits will return Thursday and will stay in the 100’s until the start of the following work week.
Rain chances will increase into the weekend with the best chances to see rain on Sunday and Monday.
