El Paso, TX (KTSM)– Warming conditions are expected in the Borderland as a high-pressure system begins to dominate the southwest.
Tuesday will be the last day in our forecast with temperatures remaining below average.
Highs throughout the Borderland will stick near the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Two high pressure systems in the westerns part of the nation will provide the region with drier and calmer conditions.
Wind speeds will stay low as they move in from the northeast at 5-10 mph.
Temperatures will rise above average on Wednesday with highs in the upper 80s. This warming trend will last into the weekend and into the start of the following work week.
Highs in the 90’s will return Thursday providing us with a hot start to October.
