Conditions will remain favorable for above average heat Thursday and into the weekend.
El Paso will come near matching or breaking record temperatures Friday and Saturday with highs reaching the upper 90s.
Moisture that flowed throughout the region Wednesday is still exiting the area and being replaced with highs ranging from 90-98 degrees.
By the start of the following work week, a backdoor cold front will travel from the northwest to the southwest with El Paso in its path.
This system will cool us down back to normal like conditions with highs expected to drop into the lower 80s.
The system will also provide windier conditions with chances for rain.
