A high-pressure system that has been keeping the southwestern part of the nation and clear will continue to do so for the rest of the week into the weekend.
Temperatures in the area are expected to reach temperature highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Winds will move in from the east with breezy conditions.
Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s for the next 9 days in the Borderland before warming up into the 90s by the start of next week which is the start of fall.
Rain chances remain for the evening in Van Horn and Guadalupe Pass.
