Above average temperatures continue to rise for the first day of the week.
Westerly winds will be keeping the Borderland dry Monday into Tuesday. A warming trend will also continue into the end of the week.
Majority of the region is expected to stay in the mid to high 70s‘ for today.
Winds will stay calm today expecting to stay in between 5-10 mph as they move in from the West.
Winds will shift coming from the East bringing moisture to the Borderland from the Gulf.
The humid air will move into our region Tuesday evening bringing isolated showers.
Rain is expected to begin in the late night hours of Tuesday and continue into the early morning hours of Wednesday before clearing out.
A strong low-pressure system will move into our area from the North West by the end of the week bringing in a cold front.
The system is expected to drop us 10° Friday into Saturday.
