El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Cooler conditions, windier weather and chances for snow and rain mix is expected in the Borderland as a northwest system moves our direction.
Temperatures will remain 5-10 degrees cooler than normal across the region with highs nearing the upper 40s and lower 50s Monday afternoon.
Expect winter storm conditions throughout upper level areas in the region.
Chances for mixed rain and snow is expected for this afternoon into Wednesday with Deming under a winter storm warning.
El Paso and Las Cruces can expect to see some precipitation but no accumulation is expected.
Increased chances for winter weather will come Tuesday before clearing out on Wednesday.
Winds will increase into the day reaching speeds of 10-20 mph Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures should struggle reaching highs in the 50s come Tuesday.
Highs will jump into the 60s by Thursday and remain warm into the weekend.
Chances for rain will return by the start of weekend.
