University of Tennessee offers free tickets for UTEP game to Hurricane Florence evacuees

Families displaced by Hurricane Florence can attend Saturday’s game between UTEP and Tennessee free of charge.

Tennessee Director of Athletics Phillip Fulmer extended the invitation Wednesday.

“Our hearts go out to all the families whose lives have been impacted by the hurricanes and tropical storms along the Atlantic coast, Fulmer said. “… if we can provide just a few hours of distraction and normalcy for these families, I believe we should do all we can to make that possible for them.”

North Carolina and South Carolina residents who live in counties under evacuation orders may claim tickets Saturday morning. Additional details can be found here.

Kickoff is set for noon EST at Neyland Stadium.
