Terry continues to bolster UTEP roster

EL PASO, TEXAS (KTSM) - Since being introduced as UTEP head men's basketball coach in March, Rodney Terry has been busy. Terry went to work day one on the job looking to bolster the Miners' roster on the recruiting trail.

For the second consecutive day, the hard work has paid off for this rebuilding program. Terry has landed another top recruit to UTEP's growing 2018 recruiting class. Sources tell KTSM, NJIT transfer Anthony Tarke has verbally committed to UTEP. It was first reported by Jon Rothstein of WFAN.

Tarke averaged 15.7 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game last season for the Highlanders. He picked UTEP over Maryland and South Alabama, but will have to sit out next season due to transfer rules. Tarke will have two years of eligibility remaining.
