“I chose Air Force because I’ve always wanted to serve in the military and Air Force is just the best fit for me,” said Soto. “Getting the opportunity to play volleyball there was just an even better opportunity.”
Soto led the Huskies to a 31-6 (16-0) record in 2018, including a district and bi-district championship. She is a two-time All-District selection and was 1st Team All-State this past season. Soto will be a setter for the Falcons.
“It’s a great accomplishment and it’s an amazing opportunity. I never thought I’d be able to play college volleyball and it’s just great to be able to say that I’m going to play for Air Force as well,” said Soto.
Soto is Chapin’s all-time assists leader and is aspiring to be a pilot.
