The El Paso Rhinos have been the model of consistency when it comes to sports in El Paso. The Rhinos have made seven Thorne Cup appearances since 2007 and they have won four of them, including their second consecutive cup following their win in Ogden on Saturday.
Tuesday night called for celebration, as the Rhinos celebrated with their fans at the El Paso County Coliseum Events Center.
“It’s an unbelievable feeling. We are so fortunate to have great fan support,” said head coach Cory Herman. “The fans don’t realize how much it means to the guys, our staff, and just how much it helps us in recruiting. Every players want to come and play in front of our crowd.”
The Rhinos had 23 consecutive sell-out crowds at the Events Center this season.
