New Mexico State opened spring football practices on Friday morning at Aggie Memorial Stadium.
The Aggies are looking to rebound in 2019 after a disappointing 3-9 campaign last fall. A good fall starts with a good spring, and NMSU has something this year that they haven’t had in years past.
“The best thing is we have more depth than we’ve ever had here before for spring ball,” head coach Doug Martin said. “Usually we’re trying to piece meal things together and we’re actually 2 and 3 deep at most positions right now so that helps us get a lot more done.”
The Aggies will work out in Las Cruces for three weeks and hold a spring game on March 20.
