The 2019 NFL Draft is officially here. Round 1 will kickoff on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee. Rounds 2-3 will be on Friday night and Rounds 4-7 will take place on Saturday.
While we are not expected to see any local players drafted on day one, there is a possibility we see a New Mexico State Aggie taken on Friday. NMSU linebacker Terrill Hanks has been rising on NFL Draft boards across the league and is projected to be selected between Rounds 3-5. He participated in the Senior Bowl in January and the NFL Combine in February.

Hanks recorded over 100 total tackles this past season for the third time in his NMSU career. He registered 11 career sacks and eight career interceptions.
Hanks has gone on visits to Minnesota, Houston, and San Francisco. He has had private workouts with Miami, Houston, New York, and Dallas. Hanks is the No. 5 ranked inside linebacker in this year’s draft class according to multiple publications.
