UTEP’s miraculous game-winning buzzer-beater is dropping jaws all around the nation.
As KTSM 9 Sports reported, UTEP freshman Jordan Lathon made a baseline jump shot as the buzzer sounded on Saturday night to defeat Rice 65-64 at the Don Haskins Center.
The play landed the No. 2 spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10 list Saturday night and was shared by popular national outlets.

Saturday’s victory brought UTEP to 6-9 and 1-3 in Conference USA play. The Miners will now look to play UAB and Middle Tennessee on the road next week.
