Centennial and Santa Teresa each won their first games of the New Mexico baseball playoffs in resounding fashion on Thursday, with the Hawks shutting out Deming 10-0 and the Desert Warriors blanking Kirtland Central 6-0.
For Santa Teresa, Braden Gluth was electric on the mound as he threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 Broncos in the victory.
