Funeral services for former President George H.W. Bush will begin on Monday with a departure from Houston, go through the nation’s capital and conclude with a burial next to his wife and daughter.

The office of former President Bush released the full schedule of his state funeral and related services in Houston, Washington, D.C., Spring and College Station, Texas. All times are local.

  • 10:30 a.m.  Departure Ceremony at Ellington Field in Houston
  • 3:30 p.m.    Arrival Ceremony at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C.
  • 4:45 p.m.    Arrival Ceremony at U.S. Capitol
  • 5 p.m.         Lie in State at U.S. Capitol

Wednesday

  • 10 a.m.      Departure Ceremony at U.S. Capitol
  • 11 a.m.      Arrival and Funeral at Washington National Cathedral
  • 12:30 p.m. Departure Ceremony at Washington National Cathedral
  • 1:15 p.m.   Departure Ceremony at Joint Base Andrews
  • 4:30 p.m.   Arrival Ceremony at Ellington Field in Houston
  • 5:45 p.m.   Arrival Ceremony at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston
