Celebrating National Doctors day in the Borderland

Positively El Paso

Saturday was National Doctors day, a time to give thanks to the medical professionals who care for our community every day.

The Hospitals of Providence celebrated a little early, distributing gifts and hosting a special lunch on Friday. Organizers said the holiday is one way to give back to help keep us healthy.

“It’s a way for the hospitals to honor those providers, those physicians, who give their time and their lives to give back to the community,” Rob Anderson, CEO of The Hospitals of Providence said.

National Doctors day is observed March 30 every year.
