Upper-level disturbance brings winter weather to the Borderland

A slow upper-level system arrived in the Borderland this morning keeping us 20° below average and causing snow flurries in parts of the region.

We will continue to see mixed showers in isolated parts of the area until 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday evening as the storm passes through.

Easterly winds will continue into the night at 10 to 20 mph, bringing chilly Candian air keeping cool at 37° for your expected overnight low.

A high-pressure system moving our way will warm us up into Sunday and dry us out until early Monday.
