Three-month closure of Resler westbound exit ramp starts Tuesday night

Some of El Paso’s heavily-traveled areas are undergoing major road construction.

TxDOT is scheduling to close the Resler west exit starting on Tuesday, Jan. 29 for approximately three months.

“That is going to be a big change for commuters because a lot of people like to take that Resler off-ramp,” TxDOT Spokesperson Jennifer Wright, tells KTSM.

Drivers are encouraged to exit before Resler or after Mesa.

I-10 and Sunland will also undergo changes starting on February 4th when the permanent east entrance ramps will be open.

More changes include parts of Alameda coming down to one lane on both directions to work on the new eastbound lanes starting on January 29.
