“The most effortless, accurate, and powerful voice.”
That’s how country superstar Blake Shelton described up-and-coming artist Holly Tucker during her time competing in NBC’s “The Voice”.
Tucker paid a visit to NewsChannel 9 to discuss her music and latest album, “Steel”.
“I drew the most inspiration on this album from really powerful females in the industry that have always inspired me,” she says, “and I just want to be that for someone else with the music in this album.”
Tucker, 24, was among the top six remaining contestants in the fourth season of the singing competition show. According to her website, the country singer was one of just seven competitors to receive the coveted “four chair turn” from the judges.
Since competing in “The Voice”, Tucker has performed more than 500 times in several states and countries. The Waco native has also released three singles to Texas Regional Radio, which all charted in the top 100.
