UPDATE: The SWAT situation on Tierra Mision Dr. has been cleared.
“There was not any evidence of a firearm being discharged,” police say.
There are no arrests pending or made.
ORIGINAL: The El Paso Police Department’s SWAT and Crisis Intervention teams are responding to the 3000 block of Tierra Mision Dr. in Far East El Paso near Rich Beem Blvd. and N. Zaragoza Rd.
A police spokesman said officers are communicating with a person who may have fired a gun.
