Millions of state dollars could be heading to the Sun City to fix the Wyler Aerial Tramway and for El Paso’s new dental school.

The Texas House of Representatives passed two funding bills on Wednesday night.

The bills would provide $20 million for the new dental school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso and $15 million to repair the tramway.

As KTSM reported, the tramway was shut down in 2018 after it was deemed unsafe for public use.
