EL PASO, TEXAS (KTSM) – The Socorro Independent School District (SISD) was recognized with 34 awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association for outstanding communication, public relations, and marketing projects during the 2021-2022 school year, including three Best of Category awards.
TSPRA recognizes exceptional communicators in public school districts, education foundations and educational organizations throughout the state of Texas for their outstanding work in print, photographic and electronic media.
The SISD PR team won a total of 19 Gold Star awards, 10 Silver Star awards, two Bronze Star awards, and three Crystal Commendation Certificate of Merit awards for outstanding writing, communication, photography, videography, posters, and special events.
