Some chaos broke out inside President Donald Trump’s El Paso rally.
KTSM 9 News reporter and weekend anchor Estefania Seyffert was shoved and nearly knocked to the ground last night by a man who charged at the media area.
Co-Chief Photojournalist Johnny Munoz, who was also shoved, was able to catch Estefania.
The man was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and was originally subdued by another Trump supporter. The incident was caught on camera by one of other KTSM 9 News team members.
Police and the Secret Service eventually jumped in and eventually escorted the man out of the area.
NBC News reported a BBC reporter was “violently shoved,” while the man also allegedly yelled, “[expletive] the media.”
President Trump repeatedly incited the crowd against the media during the rally, as did his son Donald Trump, Jr. and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.
The President’s speech was also interrupted several times as anti-Trump protesters, who were escorted out to cheers from Trump supporters.
