El Paso Mayor Dee Margo invited to Mexican presidential inauguration

El Paso Mayor Dee Margo will be in attendance as Mexico’s new president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, is officially sworn in to office this weekend.

According to his office, Margo is among 16 mayors invited to Saturday’s ceremony in Mexico City as part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

He will also be a part of the 145-person U.S. delegation, which will include Vice President Mike Pence and Ivanka Trump, according to the White House Press Office.

Margo will arrive to Mexico City on Friday and is set to return to El Paso on Sunday.
