EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 39-year-old man is dead after a shooting early Saturday morning, Aug. 19, in Northeast El Paso, according to the El Paso Police.
At 4:20 a.m., officers responded to the 9500 block of Dyer near Sanders Avenue to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located Christopher Garcia, 39, who had been shot and killed, according to police.
Crimes Against Persons (CAP) detectives responded to the scene for further investigation.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that there was an altercation that occurred between several individuals resulting in Garcia being shot and killed.
