Pedestrian dies in Northeast El Paso crash

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Northeast El Paso overnight.

According to police, the department’s Special Traffic Investigators unit responded to the intersection of Dyer and Hayes at about 12:15 a.m. 

Dyer was closed off in both directions to allow STI to investigate the crash.

Police have not yet released the identify of the pedestrian; check back with KTSM for updates.
