EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Las Palmas Medical Center recognized “Kangaroo Care Awareness Day,” to advocate, educate and raise awareness for skin-to-skin contact between newborns and parents.
Additionally, the day especially focuses on those in the neonatal intensive care unit.
