Monday Weather on the go: Warm today, cooler and windy tomorrow, rain chances this week

An above average warm, dry, and breezy day today however changes will come tomorrow.

For today temperatures will be in the 80s and above average by 5°-8°. This is thanks to our winds coming from the west throughout the day as well as the dry conditions we are seeing.

Today’s winds will come from the west southwest at 10-15 mph and gusts 20 mph. It looks like wind speeds and gusts will peak around 3 p.m.

Changes come to our weather tomorrow as we will see a strong cold front and our next storm system come in from our west.

This cold front will kick off a cooling trend that will cool temperatures down throughout the rest of the work week. You can expect temperatures to reach the lower 70s by Wednesday. We will start to warm back up into the upper 70s by Thursday.

This cold front will also be the wind maker for our next major wind event.

On Tuesday winds will come from the west southwest at 25-30 mph and gusts 40 mph. Keep in mind, if these winds do reach 30 mph we could see a Wind Advisory go into effect. We will also see a 10% chance of showers Tuesday afternoon and overnight.

On Wednesday winds will come from west at 35-40 mph and gusts 50 mph. If these winds do reach 40 mph we could see a High Wind Warning go into effect. We will also see a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms come into the forecast.

We re expected to dry out and warm up by Thursday, putting us back in the 80s by Friday.

More breezy conditions are expected to come back into the forecast on Saturday. But as of of right now Easter Sunday looks to be calm and warm with a forecast high of 85°.
