Man wanted out of Arizona arrested during DWI traffic stop

El Paso Police arrested a man who was wanted on a warrant out of Arizona during a DWI stop early Thursday morning.

According to police, they stopped a maroon Pontiac G6 driven by 23-year-old Christopher Dorn in the 6700 block of Montana near Airway just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

EPPD’s DWI Task Force alleges that Dorn was driving 67 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone. Police determined that Dorn was intoxicated and upon further investigation, they discovered he was wanted on an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon warrant out of Pima County Arizona.

Dorn was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC above .15 and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the DWI and outstanding warrant.
