A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on I-10, according to Texas DPS officials.
The incident happened at about 11 a.m. on I-10 and mile-marker 99 in Hudspeth County.
Investigators say the man, 59, was riding on a charter bus when he had a “possible medical emergency”.
When EMS was checking on his condition, he then ran onto the interstate and was hit by a passing car.
The man, whose identity was not yet released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Texas Rangers and Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Department will continue to investigate the incident.
