Man, 60, arrested in series of Circle K robberies

A man is in jail for allegedly robbing the same Mission Valley convenience store three times this past month.

Police arrested Jose Luis Valles, 60, on Monday and charged him with two counts of aggravated robbery.

According to a news release, Valles is accused of robbing the Circle K store located at 7100 North Loop on May 23, June 5, and June 10.

Police say he demanded money while pointing a knife at the clerk.

Valles was booked into the El Paso County Jail early Tuesday morning under a  $100,000 bond.
