Locomotive FC tops Orange County SC 2-0 for first win in franchise history

El Paso Locomotive FC got two second half goals from Edson Partida en route to a 2-0 win over Orange County SC on Saturday night, the first victory in club history.

Partida entered the game late in the first half because of an injury to Derek Gebhard and proceeded to score two goals, first in the 64th minute and again in the 88th minute to secure the victory.

The win comes after a heartbreaking 2-2 draw with Rio Grande Valley FC last Saturday, in a game El Paso led 2-0 with 15 minutes left. Locomotive FC is now 1-1-2 on the season.

El Paso’s next game is April 13 at home against Phoenix Rising FC.
