Local clinic’s plea to Congress

News

Officials at San Vicente Family Health Center in the lower valley made an emotional plea to Congress.

They are asking the government to provide funding they desperately need to stay open.  The clinic wants to keep providing services for those most vulnerable in our community.  The  clinic feels the funding is not just about money, it’s about helping people.

In Texas, the number of children up to age 17 who receive care from community clinics is over 600,000.
