Local chefs, celebrities pair up for ‘Chefs and Stars’ fundraiser

News

Local chefs and celebrities are partnering up to participate in the Chefs and Stars fundraiser to benefit Rebuilding El Paso Together.

The event aims to raise money to make home improvements for veterans, the elderly, and other El Pasoans in need.

Julie Aduato, owner of Orange Peel Pastries, Cakes, and More, is participating in the event for the second year.

“The competition helps the community,” Aduato tells KTSM, “If I can get flavors together and have people enjoy them, that makes me happy.”

The winner of the Chefs and Stars fundraiser will be announced on April 14.
