Local Basketball camp to feature NBA player

Ballers listen up! There’s an NBA player coming to the Sun City next week to help kids increase their basketball skills.

Phoenix Suns point guard Tyler Ulis is participating in the inaugural Southwest Elite Basketball Camp on Tuesday, July 25 at Burges High School. Ulis played college basketball at the University of Kentucky where he was an All-American as well as SEC Player of the Year in 2016.

Registration for the one-day camp is $125 and includes the following:

  • One-on-one skills training
  • Conditioning
  • Evaluations & progress reports
  • Dribbling, driving & shooting
  • Eye-hand coordination
  • T-shirt for each player
  • Balance & footwork
  • Lectures & on-the-court discussions
  • Autograph session

The camp will begin at 8 am and will end at 4 pm. Space is limited. Walk-up registration the day of the camp starts at 7 am.
