Law enforcement warning not to share viral Facebook post showing child porn

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Law enforcement agencies across the country are warning people not to share a chilling Facebook post that has started going viral.

The video shows a young girl performing a sex act on an adult male, many people have been sharing the video seemingly to draw awareness to the crime but if you share it you could also be committing a felony.

"You're disseminating child porn. And that's a felony. If you are in possession of it, no matter your good intentions, that is also a felony. So in this case it's very disturbing that people feel like it's OK to post something awful happening to a child on social media. Every time it gets posted the victim in this case gets re-victimized for more people to see what she's been subjected to. It's an awful thought that people can't understand that that's wrong," Tim Gann, Madison Co. Chief Trial Attorney in Alabama said.

At this point, Federal and State officials nationwide have launched an investigation into the video but those behind it have yet to be caught or identified.
