Two Mexican federal agents killed in Northeast Chihuahua

Juarez

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two members of Mexico’s National Guard were ambushed and killed Monday on the Ojinaga Highway.

Federal officials confirmed their deaths on Tuesday. They added that the two agents returned fire, but were ultimately killed.

The agents were identified as Commander Monica Loyda and Officer Alejandro Cazperin.
