Murders in Juarez this month increase to 89 total

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Violence rates in Juarez continue to increase as 22 people were murdered this past weekend alone. This leaves the total number of murders this month at 89.

Government officials held a security meeting in which they analyzed the situation at hand and concluded that drug trafficking remains the number one cause for murders.

Officials say they have identified the person who is responsible for the most murders and have sent out an arrest warrant.
