Juarez officials open shelters for homeless as temps drop

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of Juarez has opened several shelters for its homeless population as colder temperatures embrace the Borderland.

KTSM 9 News’ crew in Juarez got a look at one of those shelters, which includes space to sleep, along with warm blankets.

Officials said they wanted to provide a warm place to spend the night for those without a home.
