News

It’s official, your electric bill is going up come the new year.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas Gas approved El Paso Electric’s rate case.  This means beginning January, you will see an average monthly increase of $3.50 in the winter and $5.00 in the summer months.
New customers with private rooftop solar panels, will pay a minimum monthly bill of $30.00.
Existing rooftop solar customers will see no changes.

Also starting in January, you will also see two separate charges, including one to repay legal fees.
