FINAL UPDATE: Police say the subject is now in custody. All lanes have since been opened. No backup was reported.
UPDATE: One person is currently barricaded in a building on Gateway East near Lomaland, according to El Paso Fire dispatch. This being near the location of a Ramada Inn.
The left two lanes are now open; however, the right lane remains closed, according to TxDOT El Paso. Gateway West turnaround is also open.
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — All lanes are currently closed at Gateway East on Lomaland due to a police presence, according to TxDOT El Paso.
Clearing time is until further notice. No further information has been released.
