Winds and above average temperatures return to the forecast today.

Wind speeds will increase today as they com  from the west at 15-25 mph and gusts 30+ mph. Gusts will pick up 10 a.m. but will peak between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Because these winds are coming from the west this means that we will see warmer and above average temperatures in the forecast.

A warming trend will kick off today putting forecast highs in the 70s once again. Some cooler air will keep temperatures close to what we saw yesterday.

This means we will see a forecast high of 73° in El Paso for today.

This warming trend will increase forecast highs to the mid 70s by Saturday and upper 70s by Monday.

As of right now it looks like we could see 80° by Tuesday and 84° by Wednesday. Keep in mind our average temperature, so we will be 8°-12° above average.

Our next windy day is expected to come in on Thursday as we will also see a cold front come in that will kick off a cooling trend. As of right now it looks like these winds could reach Wind Advisory levels.

As of right now it looks like this cooler air will drop temperatures to more seasonal temperatures by next Saturday.
