Some parts of El Paso looked like scenes from “The Mist” as a thick layer of fog blanketed the Borderland Sunday morning.

The fog was caused by cooling temperatures that rapidly cleared out overnight. Additional fog is not currently in the forecast.

Highs will remain above average Sunday afternoon with mostly clear skies and light winds.
