EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — On Wednesday, the El Paso Police Department identified the woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday night as 93-year-old Petra Zamorano of El Paso.
EPPD is still searching for the car that initially hit Zamorano on Sunday night at near Troy and Alameda avenues. Police suspect the vehicle possibly involved is a silver or grey PT Cruiser. The car continued traveling west on Alameda.
Zamorano was then struck by a second vehicle, police said.

El Paso Police need the public’s help in finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run that left an elderly woman dead in the Lower Valley on Sunday night.
Investigators say it happened in the Lower Valley at Troy and Alameda Avenues around 6:30 p.m.
According to police, the elderly woman was struck and killed while crossing the street. Police suspect the vehicle possibly involved is a silver or grey PT Cruiser.
