Discover EPISD Expo planned for Nov. 4

News

El Paso Independent School District is planning a large expo event Nov. 4 at the UTEP Union to showcase the different educational programs the district has to offer students.

Nearly every school in EPISD will be represented with booths showcasing their special programs and extracurricular activities. District officials say the expo is a chance for parents from throughout El Paso County to come see what EPISD has to offer.

EPISD is an open enrollment district and welcomes students from all of El Paso County.

Parents will be able to learn more about EPISD programs available to students including universal pre-kindergarten, district-wide dual language classrooms, single-gender schools and specialized magnet programs.

Students will also be featuring the fine arts and career-and-technology education programs available to them including mariachi groups, modern dance, and cosmetology.

The expo is scheduled Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at UTEP’s Student Union Building. Free parking is available in the Sun Bowl parking garage.
