Detectives continue searching for missing man with schizophrenia

Dona Ana County sheriff’s detectives still need your help finding a missing El Paso man suffering from schizophrenia.

Officials say Israel De Santiago, 29, was last seen on June 10 at his mother’s house located on the 200 block of Magic Shadow in Santa Teresa.

Officials say a group of homeless  people claimed to have seen a man matching De Santiago’s description near the Yucca Park area.

He is reportedly not taking his medication to treat his schizophrenia, and may not know who or where he is.

De Santiago is described as 5’7″ and 145 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a Harley Quinn tattoo on his arm. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.

De Santiago’s last known address is located on the 11000 block of Rembrandt in El Paso.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or detectives at 575-525-8882.
