City resurfaces damaged, heavily-traveled streets

News

Some of El Paso’s busiest — and most damaged — streets are getting some much-needed repairs.

The City is repaving the following roads:

  • McCombs
  • Resler
  • Yarbrough
  • George Dieter
  • Viscount
  • Hawkins
  • Rojas
  • Railroad

According to a news release, McCombs is the first street to receive improvements and will soon be finished.

“For many years, it had been over worked and not really taken care of,” District 4 Representative Sam Morgan said.

City official say the street resurfacing project is funded by the 2012 Street Capital Improvement Program.
