El Paso continues to grow, from the Far East, Downtown and the Westside. If you exit I-10 in Central El Paso you may be surprised at what you’ll find.
One location many people forget about is the Five Points, there you can find restaurants you can find bars including it’s newest locations Salt + Honey.
The cafe opened their doors just about three weeks ago, Salt + Honey’s owner Maggie Asfahani says business has been booming. Having dreamt of opening her own business for quite some time, Asfahani had been eyeing a location in Five Points.
“Central El Paso is just the hub of El Paso to me more than anywhere else, there’s so much history and so much culture and I feel like it’s really underserved”, says Asfahani.
The newly opened bakery café offers something a little different then what’s already available: breakfast, brunch and lunch with a variety of coffee drinks and some alcohol selections. The hip decor offering a fun laid back setting.
The Five Points area also recently opened new lofts, a GECU is being built and the city recently added new parking sots to accommodate the increase in people visiting the businesses.
