UPDATE: The body found at Red Sands in El Paso County on Monday night, April 10, has been determined to be that of Michelle Morales-Nakaza.
Police are calling this El Paso’s fourth murder of the year.
Morales-Nakaza has been missing since March 27, when she was last seen at a Baskin Robbins at 12379 Edgemere.
At the time of the initial media release, officers said a Hispanic man could possibly have picked Morales-Nakaza up in a white 2005 to 2010 Toyota Camry.
The Crimes Against Persons unit will continue to investigate this as a murder.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Law enforcement is out at Red Sands, a popular off-road recreation site in East El Paso County, on Monday evening, April 10, investigating a body that was found out there.
El Paso County Sheriff’s Office confirms that are assisting El Paso Police. Sheriff’s officials say the police are the lead investigators on the case.
