Austin defeats Canutillo for first Bi-District Championship since 2007

Austin High School will advance to the area around of the Texas high school football playoffs following a big win on Thursday.

The Panthers defeated the Canutillo Eagles 35-14 at McKee Stadium to become Bi-District champions. 

This is Austin’s first Bi-District Championship since 2007. Canutillo is just four years removed from its trip to the state semi-finals.

Several other local teams also took the field on Thursday, but fell to their West and Northwest Texas counterparts. See the full list of scores below:
